90% Cormo 10% Silk (Eri silk aka Ahishma silk)

250 yards per 100 gram skein

DK weight

Wool from our Cormo flock of sheep. Cormo are a breed derived from the Corriedale and Saxon Merino Sheep. The micro count is typically 17-23 making this fiber soft enough to wear next to your skin. The added silk offers added shine, coolness, and strength.

This is a limited batch yarn, meaning there will not be another identical yarn made. Please buy enough for your project, as I cannot guarantee the yarn can be matched.

The sheep are sheared by Lindsay Kurth, the shepherdess at Kurth Valley Farm. She has been breeding Cormo and CVM sheep for 12 years. The priority is quality fine wool for wearables.
